WHAT IS AFTERNOON TEA?
​Afternoon Tea is a tea-related ritual, introduced in Britain in the early 1840s.
It evolved as a mini meal to stem the hunger and anticipation of an evening meal at 8pm.
Afternoon Tea is a meal composed of sandwiches (usually cut delicately into 'fingers'), scones with clotted cream & jam, sweet pastries & cakes. Interestingly, scones were not a common feature of early Afternoon Tea & were only introduced in the twentieth century.​​

WHAT WE OFFER
Skywater Afternoon Tea offers a classic Afternoon Tea service, "not High Tea".
For a delightful tea time, our space is designed for smaller gatherings to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone.

Our menu is a prix fix set, changes monthly featuring seasonal ingredients and theme. The décor and menu will reflect the season & festive holiday.​​​

TEA SERVICE
​
Our tea service is a pre-booked experience that requires us to confirm all bookings 48 hours in advance. Therefore, we do not accept walk-ins.
​
All reservations guarantee a full 1 hour & 30 minutes tea experience & please ignore the 30 minutes time frame on the service details.

FRIENDLY REMINDER
​
Unfortunately, we do not offer vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, or egg-free options. Vegetarian & pescatarian options are available upon advance notice & No nuts of any kind are used.
​
Please let us know in advance if anyone in your party has any mobility or accessibility needs, or if little ones will be attending, so we can plan accordingly.​​​​​​​​​​
